Getting Shady For YRB Magazine

Here's a piece I recently finished for YRB Magazine on shady politicians.

Drawin' George Liquor

I spent some time last weekend drawing John K's George Liquor character. First I went through some of my Spumco comics and copied some drawings by John and Jim Smith so I could learn how he is constructed. Eventually I went on my own and started drawing him from my head. Some are okay and some suck, but it was fun to try and draw a character I've never attempted before.

MUTO: Street Art Meets Animation

I can't even fathom the time and effort it took to create a piece of animation on this scale. Amazing.

Coachella 2008: Saturday

Prince thought he was too cool to allow photographers to shoot the first three songs from the photo pit. So after I shot Portishead (who were amazing BTW) I made my way through the crowd until I could go no further. Prince was amazing of course, but I'm still pissed I had wade my way through all the people and then block their view so I could get my shots. Fuck you Prince, you didn't stop me from stealing your soul with my digital image capture device!

Coachella 2008: Friday

It's great to be back at Coachella for a second year. It's hot as ballz but the vibe is good and the bands are bringing their best game. Check in on losanjealous Monday or Tuesday for complete coverage.

Coachella 2008: The Arrival

I've been sent into the into the desert to shoot the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, this time for losanjealous.com. I know... it's a tough job, but somebody has got to do it! Leah and I are breaking in the house a bit before our friends and family arrive this weekend.
