In late March I was contacted by Amid Amidi and asked to take a crack at creating a new logo for
Animation Blast magazine. Being a huge fan of his magazine I jumped at the chance. Below is a montage of the sketches I made in the process of creating the logo:

Illustrator makes me want to cry. as a matter of fact on quite a few occasions it succeeds.
I am trying to learn it without the fundemental professor breathing down my cleavage attempting to show me how to change my brush size.
i have never been so frustrated with anything in all my life. why cant i figure out how to use the damned thing?
Patience grasshopper! Illustrator took a lot longer for me to learn than Photoshop for some reason. I'm a Kung Fu Master in Photoshop, but still feel like a beginner who's just got his footing with Illustrator!

I want to learn and tame Illustrator myself. I've seen some excellent graphic design and vector work come out of it. M Check out this magazine sometime. They have some great Illustrator tuts by Alberto Ruiz.
its so funny that you mention DRAW! because my boyfriend bought one about ohh.... a year or 2 ago and it had this great "how to color in ilustrator" stuff in it. at that time i didnt even have illustrator. i didnt even know it existed. i just thought everything was hand painted old school style. ya know?
illustrator makes me want to scream like that chick at the end of CARRIE when she was having the dream of the "Carrie burns in hell" moment when the hand reaches up and grips her! yeah.. like that. maybe i should break down and take a corresponence (sp?) course on it. :p im starting to lose my mind.
