This morning my new amp arrived from Splawn Amplification. The Splawn Quick Rod delivers some of the best classic Marshall tones with all the modern appointments. Loaded with 4 Mullard EL34 power tubes and 4 12AX7 pre amp tubes, this beast can dish out the rock at unholy volumes as well as lower practice levels. It's only been a few hours, but so far it's hands down my favorite amp I've played to date. Thanks to Scott Splawn for making an amazing amp and thanks to Derek at Rock Solid Amps for making it an easy purchase. I apologize to my neighbors in advance!

Well if RUN DMC lives next door - you may have a match made in heaven - rock on dude - can't wait to experience the cascade of tone ;)
um.. as long as you dont start wearing pleather pants. everything will be okay....
When I play guitar I don't even wear pants!
:-P
Cool character designs Brian! Great blog.
hahaha! your girlie must love that one.
if i came home to find the nickster pantless with a guitar in his lap i would wonder i fhe drank all the drano.
Bring the muthafuckin noise! I miss El Splawn! Can't wait to jam when I get back from SF!
Be sure to be nude and rude!

leah
That's some groovy gear!
The only reason to play an electric guitar sitting down is if you have no legs. It's forgivable if you're too drunk to stand, but you'd better be rolling around on a stage.
did you die?
you died didn't you?
can i have your new amp since your dead?
thanks.
I'm still alive! I just have too many projects going at once to post. I should have time this weekend to scan and organize drawings. Then I'll post a few every couple of days. Hang in there...
:-D

lets face is Mr. Romero. you have become too popular for the lowly ones like us. hah!
Just happen to come across your post. I was in a band with Scott for about 9 years. I just moved back from San Francisco and hang with Scott a lot. He is doing a great job with his stuff. He stays way to busy in his shop. Anyway, just want to give a shout out.
Peace
