Ren and Stimpy creator and cartoon pioneer John Kricfalusi has posted a very interesting piece on the death of form. He uses toy design to demonstrate the decline of form after 1960. John also discusses the general decline of art and entertainment. Be sure to read through the comments with some funny and interesting posts from Eddie Fitzgerald and Marlo Meekins. While I don't think 'hippies destroyed western civilization', I do agree that having a firm grasp on traditional creative skills has become rare. Without this solid foundation any artist becomes limited in how they can express themselves visually.

You guys haven't moved yet?
I thought you were long gone!
We were planning on being out of here by November, but we both had too many long freelance projects going to leave any earlier than the end of December! We figured it's best to move with more money in the bank anyway. How are you and the family doing man?
I laugh in the face of the Death of Form.
Man John's not still blamming the decline of Western Society on Hippies, is he? Hippies didn't trade-mark lazieness!
BTW Those Cheese Designs are Priceless! Fin' great!
