Inspired by high oil prices and a devalued dollar, I set out to make the zero dollar bill! Did you know the U.S. dollar is fiat currency? Or that the Federal Reserve is a private bank, whose board members and meetings are secret? That's right, our economy is controlled by a secret cabal of domestic and foreign banks! No doubt they are looking out for our best interests though...
I e-mailed this piece off to Matt French, who I collaborated on a skateboard deck with not too long ago. He forwarded it to Chicken, the head honcho at Pocket Pistols Skates. Long story short, he asked for a black and white version to make into stickers that will be packaged along with the next wave of Pocket Pistols decks. Some of the detail had to be toned down in order to print correctly at standard U.S. currency size.I will have limited edition prints and stickers for sale via my site soon.
P.S.
Yes, I drew everything but the typography. No scanning or Photoshop tricks... just many hours of work!
UPDATE!
Stickers now for sale via my online store.

Just A Scam - hahaha
lol. yes!
Fanastic! Your detail is superb! I took a stab at satanic currency back in college: link
Porky looks perfect on a bill.
"...whose board members and meetings are secret?"
This is sick! Can't believe you put all that work in by hand.
You rock.
Thanks anonymous! I fixed my erroneous grammar.
zeitgeist!
nice work
HAHAHA!
We'll start printing right now.
stumbled on this through Drawn! Your work is awesome!
pretty darn cool.
Nice piggery...
What about WTC Building Seven or Peak Oil? Why'd did you leave that stuff out?
Oh, I see. You put a spowl (a spider owl) northwest of the big "1" in the top right corner. Just like your buddies at the Fed. That's a dead giveaway.
See you at the Grove this summer, goldbug!
Absolutely hilarious! Love it!
Would be better with Bush on it!
Make it look real!
Sweet! But I have to wonder what the back looks like?
Anonymous, I'm not sure if you're serious or not but this piece was about the Federal Reserve and systematic devaluation of the dollar. Some of the other topics you bring up will be covered in pieces I'm working on right now. Our little owl friend will be making another appearance in my next piece... have a little patience.
Michael, I didn't use Bush because that sends a different message. Bush is merely a symptom of the larger issues. I'm hoping that my work will get people to focus on who pulls the strings, not the puppets.
Stunning!
I like this. Can you give it a free license; maybe with the requirement to give the original autor when using it.
"get people to focus on who pulls the strings, not the puppets"
Well said...
I'm pretty sure most currencies are fiat currencies and I'm not sure I see the harm in it - either way, money is just a handy social construct.
I'm not a big fan of the sweat-drops and warts on porky's face - reminds me of Nazi anti-jewish propaganda and all the other propaganda like it.
A+ on the craftsmanship and the clever idea, though
"I'm pretty sure most currencies are fiat currencies and I'm not sure I see the harm in it - either way, money is just a handy social construct."
While fiat currency doesn't have to be a bad thing, the harm comes from the currency being controlled by private bankers who aren't accountable to the public.

I've always been a fan of gross cartoons, from Basil Woolverton to John K. Many of my own characters have warts, pimples, ingrown hairs, back hair, ear hair, nose hair and sweat. It's just part of the way I do things.
Should've guessed, I got to your blog from John K's after all, I'm sure it's just one of my (many) pet peeves acting up :)
You should do a reverse side on this bill and then print them up and sell them. Great job!
